Created a sophisticated enterprise platform featuring a proprietary, high-performance Rust-based Full-Text Search (FTS) engine, a comprehensive booking/scheduling system with calendar integration, alongside automated company outreach capabilities via advanced browser automation.
The Challenge
Building a highly performant, scalable system capable of indexing and searching vast amounts of corporate data with low latency, integrating real-time communication, managing complex booking schedules efficiently, automating targeted outreach via diverse web forms, and delivering a responsive, feature-rich user interface.
Our Solution
Developed a highly parallel distributed crawler engine utilizing multiple proxies to acquire the latest corporate information. This feeds into a sophisticated platform centered around a proprietary Rust-based FTS engine, employing advanced techniques like memory-mapped files, balanced search trees, and string interning for efficiency. Seamlessly integrated the Rust engine with the user interface using WebAssembly for exceptional responsiveness. Built upon a hybrid backend (Rust/Node.js) and a feature-rich frontend (React, Redux, modern UI components). Implemented a robust booking system (creation, update, deletion, listing) with detailed user/status/type management and Google Calendar integration. Utilized browser automation (Puppeteer) for automated form filling/submission. Leveraged Redis for caching/state management, MySQL for storage, and WebSockets for real-time updates.
Results & Impact
Enabled exceptionally fast and accurate full-text search and filtering over large corporate datasets via the custom Rust FTS engine. Provided a seamless and responsive user experience through WASM-accelerated components and real-time UI updates. Streamlined appointment scheduling and resource management with the integrated, configurable booking system. Significantly increased outreach efficiency and coverage through automated form submission capabilities.
